ABOUT US
Chubbies is the burger joint Hawaii has been waiting for. High-quality, locally-sourced ingredients, always made to order, served hot & fresh every time. We strive to serve the best local ingredients at a reasonable price.
About the burgers: premium grass-fed local beef, smashed on a traditional griddle, the patty cooks fast and stays juicy while being seared. Tender and delicious, that beef gets topped with fresh produce, homemade sauce, and gets tucked into a made-in-house potato bun.
OUR Story
We started serving our simple menu of burgers and fries in the summer of 2016.
Our food truck moved around Honolulu; you could find us all over the place. We have great memories of doing Eat the Street food truck festival, serving our food alongside local craft beers at The Brewseum, staying out late to feed hungry Pokemon-Go players in Kakaako, and being beachside down at Sandyβs.
The goal was to showcase a burger worthy of being called classic: no gimmicks, no processed junk. Simple and limited, but consistent and handmade. Well, we did something right, and eventually hundreds of burgers turned into thousands.
our future
Now operating in a permanent location at Ward Village, our truck is stationary. We are happy to have ample customer parking, and outdoor seating for you to enjoy your meal straight off the grill.

Weβve been working hard on constantly improving our quality and consistency. Keeping up with demand has kept us very busy, yet we are always making steps towards growing the company vision.
